Fixed Term Contract Work

A fixed term contract is when NonStop introduces a candidate who is then directly employed by the client for a fixed period of time.

The client would pay the candidates salary through their payroll, and in some instances the employee may be eligible for benefits as would a permanent employee.

A Company would employ someone on a fixed term contract when they need a bit more security than a temporary worker so that the worker does not leave suddenly during a critical time for the business. 

Other reasons a client would take on a Fixed Term Contractor is for:

  • Cover for long term sickness or other absences
  • For extra support during busy periods of the year
  • On a trail basis while studying a persons performance with a view to taking them  on a permanent basis.
  • To comply with internal policies or legal requirements whilst maintaining flexibility in staffing
